"wow..." ~ Annie

"Yep, I was shaking." ~ Siang

Over 700 roses, 100 candles, and an unforgetable evening. And the next morning to Hawaii...

Siang's version:
I wanted to get friends involved. So, Anna and Jessica had gone out and picked up the loads of vases, candles and holders. During the day, Jessica, Ernest and I drove all around Seattle and bought up as many of the stores' roses as we could. Basically, I really wanted her to be the only gal with the nice roses on that day in Seattle. Jessica and I then headed off to Annie's place (she was out), and started pealing petals. Jessica then took off to meet Annie for dinner. I finished pealing more roses, approx 400+ roses worth of petals (talk about raw hands and splinters from those thorns). A path guided by rose petals and candles then led from the garage to the patio outside the living room. The original plan was to plant candles in the backyard to spell the "question", but the wind kept blowing at the test candles, so I adapted the last moment and had them on the patio. .... the rest is the usual special classic, she came home, I was hiding at the steps below the patio, she came out, I walked up trembling like tofu, got on one knee, made her cry, and she said yes :))) woo hoo! The next morning, we were picked up from home and sent to the airport, and off to a few days in Hawaii...
